Mechanical Design Engineer (M/F/X)

Your activities
Your main mission is providing design services in the area of mechanical engineering. These services will support product development across HITEC’s different business units. In these areas, you will closely collaborate with other involved disciplines, such as modelling & simulation or electrical engineering. Furthermore, you will help develop and put in place best practices in terms of product design & verification.
The responsibilities include:
- Generating mechanical designs and CAD models,
- Specifying and selecting machine components,
- Generating fabrication drawings and production documents,
- Generating support documentation and testing of mechanical parts and assemblies,
- Providing expertise and support to all engineering activities of the company,
- Working on mechanical design aspects of the company’s products,
- Supporting continuous improvement in terms of design & verification processes,
- Supporting the efficient interaction and information flow between disciplines,
- Coming up with development ideas and their realization,
- Pro-actively introducing, documenting and disseminating new technologies and concepts in the technology survey activities of the department.
