13 HITEC Luxembourg employees participated in a first aid training
During this training, participants learnt to:
- Act in an organized manner at the scene of an accident
- Make a standardized emergency call
- Recognize medical and trauma emergencies
- Perform first aid for medical and trauma emergencies
- Stop life-threatening bleeding
- Appropriate positioning of emergency patients
This includes the ability to:
- Take the correct initial steps at the scene of the accident
- Bandage wounds
- Acting in case of burns
- Perform cardiac massage and use a defibrillator properly
- Resuscitate children
- Place a person in a lateral position of safety (PLS)
They have certainly learnt a lot and are now well prepared to be first aiders. Congratulations to the whole team!
